Group Voluntary Travel Plan
Travel Coverage is important
- With rising costs in health care, travel coverage protects employer-sponsored group benefits against catastrophic, out-of-country claim. Any travel claim incurred by a covered employee is paid first from the travel plan and does not affect your EHC limits.
- Travel plans pay for services not provided under the Out of Country coverage in your group health plan.
What is group voluntary travel?
Group voluntary travel allows employers with a Pacific Blue Cross group plan to offer their employees discounted travel insurance. We give your employees a discount on their purchase of our travel plans. In exchange, plan administrators help us to promote the service. We will provide the communications materials.
It's very easy to use: Once your group is signed up, visit our website under Travel Plans. Select the benefits that meet your needs, enter your policy number and the discount is automatically applied. Our customer friendly travel website makes it easy for employees to get all the coverage they need.
